Before you take reservations, review your properties and units in Bookings > Properties/Units to confirm each one is set up correctly. This matters most if the DoorSpot team imported your inventory during onboarding.
How properties and units are organized
Multifamily buildings: each unit sits under a shared parent property.
Single-family homes: the property stands on its own — you don't need to add a separate unit.
Roommate setups: add each room as a child unit under the property or unit.
A unit's page shows where it sits in this structure in the breadcrumb at the top — for example, Units > House with Yard > 56 Malone Street SW.
Steps
Go to Bookings > Properties/Units in the left sidebar. You'll see every property and unit with its Title, Balance, and Tags.
Use the filters at the top — Availability, Location, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, and Unit tags — to work through your inventory in groups. Click Customize table to choose which columns show.
Click a title to open that property or unit's page.
Check the details on the right of the page: the address, Description, Bedrooms, Full Bathrooms, Half Bathrooms, Size, Rate, Market rate, and any Custom Fields. Fix anything that's missing or wrong.
Check the rest of the page: the photo gallery at the top, the Unit Contract section, and the Availability calendar link.
Repeat for each property and unit.
Good to know
A unit with no rate shows add rate next to Rate — add one before you take reservations for it.
Use Address 2 for unit or suite numbers so each unit's address is distinct.
Apply consistent Tags so you can filter your inventory later.
Troubleshooting
A unit is missing: Clear the filters at the top of the list, then check the next page of results.
A unit is under the wrong property: Open the ⋯ menu on its row in Properties/Units and select Move unit.
