Add property and unit images

Upload photos to a property or unit from its gallery in Bookings > Properties/Units.

Add photos to a property or unit from its page in DoorSpot so guests and clients can see the space before they reserve. Use property photos for shared spaces and exteriors, and unit photos for each unit's own rooms.

Before you begin

  • The property or unit must already exist in DoorSpot.

  • Each image can be up to 10 MB.

Steps

  1. Go to Bookings > Properties/Units in the left sidebar, then click the title of the property or unit to open its page.

  2. Open the gallery at the top of the page. If it shows No Photos, click the + button in its top-left corner. If it already has photos, click the pencil icon in the top-left corner of the main photo. The Unit Gallery opens.

  3. If the gallery already has photos, click the + tile at the end of the photo grid. If it had no photos, the upload area is already showing, so go to the next step.

  4. Click Click to upload to choose images from your computer, or drag and drop them into the upload area.

  5. Click Add to add the images to the gallery.

  6. Click OK to close the Unit Gallery. Your photos now show on the property or unit's page, with the first image as the main photo.

Good to know

  • To remove a photo, open the gallery, hover over the photo's thumbnail, click the × in its corner, then click OK.

  • The gallery sorts media into tabs: All media, Photos, Videos, and YouTube.

  • Add unit-specific photos (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen) to each unit rather than to the property, so clients see the right space. Keep property photos for exteriors, entryways, and shared amenities.

  • If you manage many listings, name or folder your image files by unit before uploading so it's easy to pick the right ones.

Troubleshooting

  • Don't see the + button or pencil icon: Make sure you opened the property or unit's own page by clicking its title, not just the list.

  • An image won't upload: Check that the file is 10 MB or smaller.

  • New photos aren't showing on the page: Open the gallery again, check that the photos are listed, and click OK to close it.
