Carry mode lets you pick up a reservation on the calendar, scroll or filter to wherever you need to go, and click to place it — all without opening a separate dialog first.
Pick Up a Reservation
Right-click a reservation on the calendar to open its context menu, then choose one of:
Move on calendar — relocate this reservation to a new unit and/or new dates.
Clone & place — keep the original reservation where it is and create a new one based on it in a different unit or date range.
Either option enters carry mode — the reservation follows your cursor as a preview.
Navigate While Carrying
You're not locked in place once you pick up a reservation. Scroll the calendar, change filters, or jump to a different date — all while still carrying the reservation. As you hover over a unit and date, the preview turns green when the spot is available and red when there's a conflict.
Drop the Reservation
Move on calendar: click a valid (green) spot and confirm. DoorSpot re-checks availability and commits the move immediately.
Clone & place: click a valid spot to open a pre-filled reservation form with the new unit and dates already set — guest, rate, and notes carry over from the original for you to review before saving.
Cancel
Press Escape or click Cancel at any point before dropping to back out — the original reservation is untouched.
