Add an external calendar link to a unit so blocked days from another platform (like Airbnb or Vrbo) show up on your DoorSpot calendar too — so you don't double-book a unit that's already reserved elsewhere.
Steps
Go to Bookings > Properties/Units in the left sidebar, or use Search (top of the page) to find the unit by name or address, and open its unit page.
On the unit's page, click the ⋮ menu and select Manage calendars.
Under Link new calendar, paste the external calendar's iCal Link — it must be a hyperlink in iCal (.ics) format — then click Add.
Good to know
You can link more than one external calendar to the same unit, and edit or delete a linked calendar later from the same Manage calendars panel.
Once added, any day blocked on the external calendar appears as blocked on your DoorSpot calendar automatically — you don't need to re-sync manually.
The link must be an iCal/ICS feed URL, not a regular webpage link — most booking platforms label this an "iCal export" or "calendar sync" link in their own settings.
Troubleshooting
Can't find "Manage calendars": It's in the ⋮ menu on the unit's own page, not on the property's page.
A property's page won't load: If clicking into a multi-unit property spins indefinitely, use Search to open the specific unit directly instead.
Blocked days aren't showing up: Confirm the link is a valid iCal (.ics) feed and not a shareable/view-only page link from the other platform.
