The calendar is the fastest place to create a reservation and where most of your day-to-day work happens. This article covers creating a reservation from the calendar and getting the most out of the calendar page.
Find the right unit
Go to Bookings → Calendar. Units appear as rows with dates across the top; existing reservations and restrictions show as colored bars, so you can spot open gaps at a glance.
To find a unit fast, use the filter bar at the top of the calendar — Availability, Location, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Pet friendly, Unit tags, and Reservation tags — or use your browser's find (Ctrl / Cmd + F) to jump to a unit by name.
Create the reservation
On the unit's row, click and drag across the date range you want.
In the "What would you like to create?" dialog, choose New Reservation. (The same dialog offers New Lead for a potential stay you're still tracking.)
Complete the 5-step reservation wizard — Unit, Contact, Rate, Guests, Review — and save on the Review step. For the full wizard walkthrough, see Create a reservation.
Reading the calendar
The colored bars represent reservation states and restriction types — for example, leads, confirmed stays, and blocks. See Understanding the calendar color legend for what each color means.
