Keep a record of your service providers, such as cleaners, plumbers and maintenance companies, so you can assign them to service requests. In DoorSpot, a vendor is a contact marked as a vendor.

Add a vendor
In the left sidebar, go to CRM > Contacts.
Click Add Contact. The Create Contact panel opens.
Under Details, enter the vendor's Name (required), plus their Email and Phone. Choose an Invoice Delivery Preference and add Tags (e.g. Plumber or Cleaner) to make them easier to find.

Optionally, add an Address and fill in any Custom Fields.
Optionally, under Companies, link the vendor to a company and add their Title, Department and Roles (Billing, Maintenance, Guest Service, Arrival & Departure). Click + Add Company to link more than one.
Click Save.
Make an existing contact a vendor
In CRM > Contacts, click the ⋮ menu next to the contact.
Select Edit contact.
Turn on Mark as vendor (service provider) and click Save.
Find your vendors
In CRM > Contacts, click the Vendors only filter to show only vendors. You can also search by name or filter by Tags.
Good to know
Only contacts marked as vendors can be assigned to service requests.
Assigning a vendor does not notify them or give them access to DoorSpot. Follow up with them directly.
If you work closely with a vendor, add someone from their team as a maintenance worker. They can then receive task assignments and update task statuses in DoorSpot.
To remove a vendor from your active list, use Archive contact from the ⋮ menu. Turn on Include archived to see archived contacts.
